No question, around Koh Phi Phi there are a lot of diving spots within reach. As an example, we would like to introduce you to three worthwhile dive sites.
Viking Cave offers numerous marine life a retreat. Correspondingly, numerous marine mammals can be admired here at comparatively low depths. There are, for example, surgeon fish, anemone fish, barracudas and lion fish. Can be dived into a depth of up to 18 meters. Current is rare around the Viking Cave.
No question, at Bida Nok, the diving spot located just one kilometer south of Phi Phi Leh, is one of the most beautiful dive sites of Koh Phi Phi. Numerous hard and soft corals plunge the riffformation of Bida Nok into colorful colors. In between, there are a number of marine life. Mackerel swarms can be observed as well as reef and scorpion fish. Even turtles and leopard sharks can sometimes be spotted. With a bit of luck, you can even see a majestic whale shark pull its tracks!
The nearby dive sites Bida Nok and Bida Nai have much in common. Both are limestone islands, which have a surprising variety of species. Those who dive in Bida Nai have a good chance to see seahorses, scorpion fish, barracudas, leopard sharks, mackerel and huge swarms of glassfish. Along the reef “Fantasy Reef” there are also numerous whip corals.
